Concerns about oil prices and emissions and, also, the improved performance of electric vehicles is increasing enormously the interest in this type of vehicle, causing the apperance of new manufacturers in many different countries.
Among the manufacturers there are big players, historically present in the automotive industry, as well as new companies, with greater or lesser experience, that seek their space in this market.
For the second group of manufacturers, DOGA is an excellent partner for the development of windshield wiper and washer systems, as production volumes perfectly fit with the small or medium series with which we usually work.
Among our customers we include brands that stands out in this sector as Microcar, Lumeneo, Tazzari, Mia electric, Smiles, Valmet automotive, ECO&mobilite, Ligier, Buddy…
Recently it was brought to a close the 5th. edition of Bauma China, international fair, leader in Asia, for the sectors related to the construction machine industry.
DOGA was present at the fair both on international brands, as well as on Chinese brands, with VOLVO, JCB, DOOSAN, DYNAPAC, TEREX and SIAC in the first group, and SANY, LOVOL and SUNWARD in the second. Between these brands SANY stood out, as at their booth DOGA was present on a total of 6 machines.
We are including a few photos of these applications, which are, in some cases, spectacular.
In addition to DOGA’s affiliation with large customers, especially those in the Off-Road segments, we encompass a diverse variety of markets.
Currently, we would like to highlight DOGA’s presence as a proud windshield wiper supplier in the Brazil On-Road niche market for 4x4 vehicles - for three different manufacturers based in this country: AGRALE, CT and TROLLER. Our wiper systems are utilized in their models Marrua, Stark and T4. (See attached photographs.)
DOGA specializes in low and mid-volume series and can easily access the different niche markets of all small car manufacturers - not only 4x 4’s. These different niche markets include sport cars, hybrid and electric vehicles, micro-cars, etc.
DOGA USA was awarded the ‘Striker’ program and has become a new supplier to the Oshkosh Corporation.
Oshkosh Corp. is a North American multibillion dollar company that manufactures specialty application trucks.
The Striker is a spectacular vehicle with 4x4 and 6x6 versions for airport fire services, which due to its dimensions and characteristics, requires a specially robust and efficient windshield wiper system, strong because of the working environment, and efficient because of the high visibility requirement and the requisite of wiping dense fire foam debris from the windscreen.
The system, which uses a 259 motor, operates three arms with 700mm wiper blades, and has the peculiarity that two of the arms park in horizontal position and the third one in vertical.
Additionally, the washer system is also DOGA, using a 20l tank with a remote filler of 940 mm.
The production forecast is 200 vehicles per year from 2011.
