Our History
1958
Start of Activity
The company began its commercial activity in a house located at 8 Alella Street in Barcelona. Founded by Antonio García Domingo, it initially operated under the name FAINA, while its products were marketed under the C&G brand.
1961
Sale of C&G Products
The company sells C&G products from a unit located at 173th Travessera de Gràcia, Barcelona.
This establishment also offered accessories, spare parts, and toys. Activity at this location ended in July 1979.
1962
Alella Faina
A nine-storey building is constructed at 8th Alella Street, with a total built area of 770 m².
1969
Abrera: First Stage of the Facilities
2,300 m² of the current facilities in Abrera are developed. At that time, the industrial estate did not yet exist, and the surrounding area was covered with vineyards and peach trees. The N-II road still followed its original route.
1977
Abrera: Second Stage of Growth
Extensions are added to the buildings constructed eight years earlier, and two new industrial buildings are built, consolidating the expansion of the Abrera facilities.
1990
Abrera: Third Expansion Stage
An additional 5,050 m² are added for the stamping and welding plant, strengthening production capacity and significantly expanding the existing facilities.
2001
Subsidiary in Brazil: First Expansion in America
The first production and sales subsidiary on the American continent is established. With this international expansion, the company reaches a total building area of 17,000 m².
2003
Expansion into the USA
The company expands and strengthens its presence in the American continent by creating a new subsidiary dedicated to distributing its product range.
2004
Branch in Italy
A new branch is established to centralize all production of windshield washer systems. In addition, the product range is expanded with the expansion tanks, and brake fluid reservoirs.
2007
Expansion in Asia
Continuing its expansion policy, a new subsidiary is opened in China, focused on the production of wiper blades and windshield wiper systems for buses.
2008
New Technical Center
DOGA opens its new Technical Center, the workplace for the main entire Engineering and R&D department.
2016
Mexico & India
DOGA expands with new subsidiaries in India and Mexico.
2019
New production plant in North Africa
A new subsidiary is established in Tangier, Morocco.
2024
DOGA Japan
A new operational subsidiary is opened in Japan.
