  • International Recycling Day

    International Recycling Day

Like every year on May 17th, we celebrate International Recycling Day, a key date for environmental protection that aims to raise awareness about responsible resource use and to promote proper waste management and recycling practices.

To mark this date, DOGA has conducted a series of waste management awareness sessions in Abrera over the past two weeks, with the participation of nearly 200 employees.

These sessions were delivered by Olga Ventalló from Residus Cirera, an industrial waste management company based in Catalonia.

During the sessions, the importance of proper waste management and its significant impact on climate change were highlighted, helping to increase employees’ awareness of their role in environmental protection.

If each of us makes a small change, together we can create a big impact.

    SMALL CHANGES ARE POWERFUL! 💪🏻

Solidarity at DOGA: Blood donation campaign

On May 20, a successful blood donation campaign was held at DOGA.

Organized in collaboration with Banc de Sang i Teixits, the initiative once again saw excellent participation: 53 people took part, of whom 41 were able to donate.

We would like to recognize the strong spirit of solidarity shown by everyone who participated in the campaign, true heroes who chose to contribute to this life-saving, altruistic action. Thanks to their generosity, up to 123 patients will benefit from these donations.

DOGA takes part in the Race Against Cancer

Once again, DOGA is proud to take part in the Race Against Cancer in Barcelona.

Organized by Asociación Española Contra el Cancer, this inspiring initiative allocates 100% of its proceeds to cancer research, turning every step into an effort for a greater cause.

This year’s edition featured a change of location, taking place at the Port of Barcelona, one of the city’s most vibrant and iconic areas for both residents and visitors.

Our DOGA team enjoyed a sunny and warm morning by the sea, coming together to support a race that has become one of our most meaningful annual events.

Beyond the sporting aspect, the Race gives participants the opportunity to dedicate their effort to loved ones who are or have been affected by this disease, turning every kilometer into a message of hope, strength, and resilience.

Sustainable Industry: DOGA, a Success Story

On May 7th, the study “Diagnosis and Guide for the Adoption of Eco-Innovation Strategies in the Spanish Industrial Sector 2025” was publicly presented at the Design Hub of Barcelona.

The study, promoted by ADI-FAD (Industrial Design Association), carried out by Inèdit (an environmental consultancy), and supported by the Spanish Ministry of Industry and Tourism, analyzes a sample of 93 medium and large companies from strategic sectors of the Spanish manufacturing industry. It explores how environmental criteria are being integrated into their activities and identifies areas where the transition towards more sustainable models is already underway.

From this sample, 15 companies have been recognized as eco-innovation success stories, among which DOGA is one of them.

You can review the full study at Industria Sostenible. We are very proud to have been recognized as a success story, which confirms that we are on the right path, while also reminding us that there is still more to achieve
